Happy Fall Break Parents and Students!

ASL 1: This week in class we completed state sentences 21-25. Students also signed lesson 37. Upon return students will begin state sentences 26-30 and work on lesson 38.

ASL 2: This week students completed fingerspelling practice with the topic of rivers and signed lesson 7. Upon return students will have another fingerspelling practice and begin work on lesson 8. Those students who have signed all of the lessons have now learned approximately 150 words! Wow! I’m so proud of these students!

Spanish 1: This week students completed two duolingo assignments and two Quizizz on the estar verb and its use with conditions and emotions. They also took notes on these concepts and practiced some listening activities. Upon return students will learn how to use the gustar verb to talk about things they like to do and don’t like to do. Then they will test over the chapter.

Spanish 2: This week students learned and practiced using sequencing words such as antes, despues, por fin, etc. They also took some Quizizz on ir + a + infinitives to show mastery of this concept. Upon their return students will learn how to use present tense verbs with irregular yo forms. They will also review for and take the exam for the current chapter.

Have a great break! Be safe and make good choices!
