Hello Parents and Students,

We are in the home stretch!

01. YOUR GRANDPA BALD?
02. YOUR DAD HAVE BEARD?
03. COUSIN, YOU HOW-MANY?
04. HIDE SEEK YOU LIKE PLAY do-YOU?
05. YOU THINK PERSON CAN FLY WITHOUT AIRPLANE?

ASL 2: Lessons 35 & 36 were due this week. Tomorrow we are learning all about BASL. Students will be reading an article from the New York Times about Black American Sign Language. Here is a link to the article if you would like to peruse it.

Spanish 2: This week we learned the long form of Possessive Adjectives and practiced applying the knowledge in Quizizz. We also completed two Duolingo assignments and practiced our vocabulary using the Quizlet we created. Tomorrow students will be partner reading a story in Spanish called Los Tres Chivitos Traviesos. It is a bit of a twist on The Three Billy Goat’s Gruff. Students will be testing their comprehension of the story via a Google Form.

Spanish 1: This week students learned how to express frequency using Spanish adverbs like nunca, siempre, todos los días, etc. They should now know the meaning of the phrase, “¿Con qué frecuencia? which means “How often?” in English. They also learned how to express obligation using the phrases hay que and tener que. These mean “one must” and “have to” respectively. Tomorrow students will be partner reading a story in Spanish called Los Tres Chivitos Traviesos. It is a bit of a twist on The Three Billy Goat’s Gruff. Students will be testing their comprehension of the story via a Google Form.

German 2 and Japanese 2: Students are approaching the end of the year and are working extra hard to make sure they get the grade that they deserve in class. Please applaud them on their excellent efforts.

Have a great weekend folks!
