In ASL I, ASL II, Spanish I, Spanish II

Hello Families,

This week has been a busy week with testing and with assignments and learning in the classroom. Thank you students for all of your hard work! You are all amazing and I am so proud of you!

ASL 2: This week in ASL 2 we studied Lesson 57 which was all about cards and games. We also created and signed sentences for Cote d’ Ivoire, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czechia. Next week we will complete Lesson 58 and sign more country sentences.

ASL 1: This week in ASL 1 we completed Receptive Fingerspelling Practice and Lesson 27. Next week we will complete sentences related to April and Easter and work on Lesson 28.

Spanish 2: This week in Spanish 2 students have been working on a packet for the Present Progressive Tense and are also working in groups to make videos that show their mastery of the Present Progressive. The students are getting very creative in their ideas and I look forward to seeing their final product. Next week we will be watching the Present Progressive Videos that students created and we will take an exam over the current chapter.

Spanish 1: This week in Spanish 1 students have been working on an -AR Verb packet, Duolingo and Quizlet. They had a great time on Tuesday playing the Taco Tuesday Vocabulary Game and today they will be taking a vocabulary quiz. Next week we will be working on Expressing Frequency with Adverbs, Expressing Obligation with hay que and tener que and creating a Storyboard for -AR verbs.

Have a great weekend everyone!
