Welcome back Students and Families. I hope you all had a great break and a great Easter.

Spanish 1: This week in class students went over their new vocabulary words and read them in context and within a dialogue in which they had to change roles. Their Spanish is sounding really great and I am proud of them. Students also answered questions about the dialogue and studied the words on Quizlet. Tomorrow they will complete 15 mins. of Duolingo and we will play Quizlet Live! Next week students will be learning how to use the verb ir (to go) and will learn to tell time.

Spanish 2: This week in class students went over their new vocabulary words and read them in context and within a dialogue in which they had to change roles. Students also answered questions about the dialogue and studied the words on Quizlet. In addition to this they created a word wall and completed a worksheet using some of their new vocabulary and did 15 mins of Duolingo. Tomorrow students will study a Quizlet with the new words and will play Quizlet Live. Next week students will be working on the Imperfect tense and Reflexive Pronouns and Verbs.

ASL 1: This week in class students completed a review of lessons 1-23 and are working on Lesson 24. Next week students will complete Lesson 25, by which time they will have a working sign vocabulary of about 500 words. Wow! Well done students, I’m so very proud of you all!

ASL 2: This week in class students wrote ten sentences about their break and ten sentences about how they celebrated Easter. We reviewed Easter vocabulary from last year and students will sign their sentences tomorrow. Next week students will resume their regular lessons in ASL University and will also sign new Country Sentences.

Have a great rest of the week.
