Week 27: February 20-23

 In ASL I, ASL II, Spanish I, Spanish II

Hello Families. The Roadrunners won their basketball game today! Hooray! On to the finals tomorrow. Congratulations boys!

ASL 1: This week in class students completed receptive fingerspelling practice and Lesson 20. Next week they will review Lessons 1-20 and complete Lesson 21.

ASL 2: This week students completed Lesson 52 and Country Sentences 96-100. Next week they will complete Country Sentences 101-105 and Lesson 22.

Spanish 1: This week in class students completed Duolingo for bell work two times, and read En Contexto y En Vivo Dialogo to build their vocabulary. They also read about Mexican Culture in their textbook, completed some vocabulary building sentences, and practiced talking about schedules in Spanish. Next week students will learn how to tell time, express frequency with adverbs and express obligation with tener que and hay que.

Spanish 2: This week in class students completed Duolingo for bell work twice, read En Contexto and En Vivo Dialogo in the textbook and wrote twenty sentences using their new vocabulary words, preterit markers and verbs conjugated in the preterit tense. Next week students will write more sentences using their vocabulary words, complete some Albert.io and review stem changing verbs in the present tense. They will also discuss fine art and express activity preferences in Spanish.
