Week 26: February 12-16

 In ASL I, ASL II, Spanish I, Spanish II

Hello Families. I hope you all had a nice Valentine’s Day with your special peeps.

ASL 1: This week in class students completed receptive fingerspelling, Lesson 19 and learned how to sign some words associated with Valentine’s Day. Next week students will read another chapter of “Train Go, Sorry” and will complete Lesson 20.

ASL 2: This week students completed Country Sentences 91-95 and Lesson 51. Next week students will review lessons 41-51, complete more country sentences and Lesson 52.

Spanish 1: This week in class students completed a vocabulary quiz, Duolingo, Albert.io and a grammar assignment on the verb tener. They also played Valentine’s Day Bingo using Spanish words associated with the holiday. Next week students will be starting a new unit that centers on Mexico City. The objectives of the next chapter include being able to discuss obligations, say how often one does something and describe classes and classroom objects.

Spanish 2: This week in class students completed Albert.io, Duolingo and two Gramática pages. They also played Valentine’s Day Bingo using Spanish words associated with the holiday. Students will also be taking a vocabulary quiz tomorrow. Next week students will take a test over the current chapter and begin a new chapter.
