Week 17: November 28- December 2

In ASL I, ASL II, Spanish I, Spanish II

Hello Families,

I hope this post finds you all well. The holiday break and finals are just around the corner and will be upon us in no time. Just a reminder that if your kiddo is sick, please have them stay home to keep others healthy. Teachers have been doing their best to sanitize tables regularly and have been reminding the kids to cover when they cough or sneeze.

Spanish 2: This week in class, students completed two exercises from the textbook that required the use of the preterit tense. They also completed two Duolingo assignments using the preterit and completed whiteboard practice over the past two days. Today in class we played Quizlet live for about twenty five minutes too. Next week students will complete a review of the chapter and will take a vocabulary quiz and chapter exam.

ASL 1: This week in class students completed a review of lessons 1-15 and they should have signed lesson 15 for me. Next week we will continue to review for the final and will begin learning vocabulary related to Christmas.

Spanish 1: This week in Spanish 1 students took notes and learned how to conjugate regular -ar verbs. They had whiteboard practice on this concept yesterday and today. They also completed two Duolingo assignments. Students are also learning how to use frequency adverbs to tell how often they do things in the present tense. Next week students will complete a review for the chapter and will take a vocabulary quiz and a chapter exam.

ASL 2: This week in class students completed new country sentences and should have signed Lesson 45. Next week we will review for the final and begin learning vocabulary related to Christmas. Students will be signing a song for Christmas sometime before the break.

Have a great weekend and stay safe!
