Week 15: November 13-17

In ASL I, ASL II, Spanish I, Spanish II

Hello Families. I hope your week is going well.

ASL 1: This week in class students learned some signs for Thanksgiving (which are in the Google Classroom for them to refer to) and they also wrote sentences about how their families celebrate Thanksgiving. They should have submitted those today. They also worked on Lesson 11 in ASL University which should be signed no later than tomorrow. Next week students will be signing their Thanksgiving sentences.

ASL 2: This week in class students signed Country Sentences 46-50 on Wednesday and should sign Lesson 43 no later than tomorrow. For next week students were given a choice of signing Thanksgiving sentences or Country Sentences 51-55.

Spanish 1: This week in class students completed work on Definite Articles and Indefinite Articles in Spanish. They also did some work on matching these in gender and number. Students also completed a Quizizz on this concept. Students are learning to say what they are wearing in Spanish and how to describe others in personality and physical descriptions as well. Next week students will take a test over the current chapter.

Spanish 2: This week in class students completed review on stem changing verbs and also continued learning about bargaining and Indirect Object Pronouns. They also completed Duolingo and a listening exercise from the chapter that had to do with buying handcrafts in the market. Next week students will be taking a test over the current chapter.

Next week the school will host it’s annual Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Please see the school’s Facebook page for more info on this fun event that families are invited to. Have a great rest of the week!
