Week 12: October 25-29

 In ASL I, ASL II, Spanish I, Spanish II

Hello Families,

I hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween this past weekend. I went trick or treating with my grandson, who was dressed as R2D2 and had a blast!

ASL 1: This past week students did a fingerspelling exercise with the theme of Halloween. They also signed Lesson 10. This week they are working on Lesson 11 and have already completed some receptive fingerspelling practice.

ASL 2: This past week in class students completed their State Sentences 35- 40 with points of interest for each state and signed Lesson 40. This week we are working on Lesson 11 and new state sentences.

SPA 1: This past week in class students finished creating a new Quizlet for their new chapter vocabulary words. They also created a word wall for the new words, played Quizlet Live and read an article about Dia de los Muertos. This week we will be watching Coco in class and complete some whiteboarding exercises for the new chapter vocabulary and begin learning about definite and indefinite articles.

SPA 2: This past week in class students finished creating a new Quizlet for their new chapter vocabulary words in addition to creating a word wall and playing Quizlet Live. They also read an article about Dia de los Muertos and shared what they learned. We will be watching Coco in class today and tomorrow and will be taking notes on some of the grammar concepts for the current chapter.
