Week 31: April 3-6

In ASL I, ASL II, Spanish I, Spanish II

Hello Families! The Easter Break is almost upon us! I am looking forward to spending time with my family and watching my grandkids hunt for Easter eggs. I’m also looking forward to some time by the pool as the weather is warming up quickly.

Spanish 2: This week in class students created a new word wall and Quizlet for the next chapter. They have already begun to study the words in their Quizlet. The objectives in the next chapter will enable students to talk about things that they did in the past using the imperfect tense. Students also learned how people celebrate Easter in Spanish speaking countries this week. One Easter tradition in Mexico is making cascarones (confetti filled eggs). Next week in class, students will work on vocabulary in context and dialogue and will learn the Mexican Hat Dance!
