Week 14: November 6-9

Hello Families. I just want to start with a shout out to our veterans this week and say thank you so very much for your service.

ASL 1: This week in class students completed a review of Lessons 1-9 and also completed Lesson 10 which should be signed no later than tomorrow. Next week students will begin learning Thanksgiving vocabulary and will also work on Lesson 11.

ASL 2: This week in class students completed Country Sentences 41-45 and Lesson 42. Next week students will complete Lesson 43 and Country Sentences 46-50.

Spanish 1: This week students completed a vocabulary worksheet and two visual/listening exercises for the chapter. They are also learning about definite and indefinite articles and have been learning how to describe someone’s personality, physical appearance and clothing in Spanish. Next week students will continue working on definite and indefinite articles and matching things in gender and number.

Spanish 2: This week students completed a vocabulary worksheet and two visual/listening exercises for the chapter in addition to Duolingo  and Quizlet bell work. Students are taking notes today on Indirect Object Pronouns and will practice using them with Direct Object Pronouns. Next week students will complete more work on stem changing verbs and also practice bargaining in Spanish.
