Week 13: October 30-November 3
Hello Families. I hope you all had fun on the half day. I got to spend some time with my grandkids on Halloween and got to see some really cool holiday displays. Some people went all out!
ASL 2: This week in class students completed review of Lessons 30-41 and completed country sentences 36-40. They also began studying Lesson 42 which they will sign for me next Tuesday. Next week they will complete more country sentences and work on Lesson 43.
ASL 1: This week in class students completed receptive fingerspelling practice, review of Lessons 1-9 and began work on Lesson 10 which is all about animals. Next week students will sign Lesson 10 for me and begin Lesson 11.
Spanish 1: This week in class students built a Word Wall for the new chapter, completed reading in context and answered verbal comprehension questions using vocabulary that has to do with describing themselves in Spanish. They will also complete a reading comprehension review page, Duolingo and practice more vocabulary for the new chapter this week. Next week students will work on definite and indefinite articles and describing what they are wearing in Spanish.
Spanish 2: This week in class students created a Word Wall for the new chapter, completed reading in context and read dialogues with the new vocabulary, changing roles in each dialogue. They also completed Quizlet study and Duolingo. They will complete some more comprehension exercises for review this week. Next week we will be focusing on Stem Changing Verbs and practice using bargaining phrases in Spanish.
