Week 37: May 15-19
Hello Families!
We are in the home stretch! Next week finals for ASL and Spanish classes will be on Tuesday and Wednesday.
ASL 1 & 2: This week in class students were given a fun assignment where they choose their top 3 favorite songs. They had to submit the names of the songs, then choose one of them to sign. They had to highlight 20 new words in their songs and had to sign to the actual music. While some students chose slower songs, some of them chose faster songs and were able to slow them down within the YouTube settings. The goal was accuracy. The students who have signed so far have expressed that it was both fun and challenging. Next week on Monday, students will be prepping for the final, where they will draw random practice sheets and have to sign 10 sentences on the spot.
