Hello Families.

ASL 1: This week in class students completed their final lesson for the year in ASL University. They also studied for the final which will cover Lessons 16-30. Finals for ASL 1 begin today and students will randomly draw five practice cards from Lessons 16-30 and will have to sign two of the practice cards. Students should bring a book to read next week as a quiet activity to do when they are finished with their final. Finals will conclude on Tuesday or Wednesday next week as this is a large class. Students may bring in a board game to play with their group on Thursday.

ASL 2: This week in class students reviewed for the Final. Their final will cover lessons 45-60 in ASL University and will begin on Monday. Students will draw five practice cards from Lessons 45-60 and have to sign two out of the five. Students should bring a book to read next week as a quiet activity to do when they are finished with their final. Finals will conclude on Tuesday of next week. Students should bring a book to read on Wednesday (make-up exams) and a board game to play with their friends on  Thursday.

Spanish 1: This week in class students completed work on Interrogatives and Duolingo. They also completed a study guide to prep for the final. Today in class we reviewed the most frequently missed questions and talked about their misconceptions. It was a great opportunity for students to ask for clarification and gain a better understanding of some of the grammatical components of Spanish that are similar to those in English. The Final will be on Monday and Tuesday of next week and will be on paper. Students may use their notes on the final. Students should bring a book on Wednesday (make-up exams) and a board game on Thursday of next week.

Spanish 2: This week in class students worked on reflexive verbs and pronouns and completed Duolingo. They also completed a study guide to prep for the final. *Please remind your child to bring their computers and chargers next week as they may need them for finals in some of their classes and they will be collected (if they belong to San Tan) or removed from our system if they are personal computers.*
