Week 35: April 29- May 3

In ASL I, ASL II, Spanish I, Spanish II

Hello Families. Happy Wednesday!

Spanish 1 & 2: This week in class students have been working diligently to finish their piñatas. We will be having the contest on Friday and maybe even breaking a few of the previous years piñatas open after we fill them with treats. Students also completed Duolingo and Albert.io this week. Next week students will be finishing up the grammar concepts within the current chapter and testing over the vocabulary.

ASL 1: This week in class students read another chapter in Train Go, Sorry and completed Lesson 28. Next week students will complete Lesson 29 and review Lessons 1-28.

ASL 2: This week in class students completed Country Sentences 131-135 and the favorite sign among students was jellyfish. It is a fun sign, so feel free to ask your teen if they know how to sign it. They also completed Lesson 59, putting us in the home stretch to finish all of the lessons in ASL University. I am so very proud of these students for applying themselves and persevering through the entire program! Well done students! Next week students will sign Lesson 60 and complete Country Sentences. They will also be reading another chapter in Train Go, Sorry.

Have a great rest of the week!

Sincerely,

Ms. Hirepan
